There are many times when we all are at the cornerstone of a major fashion decision. The question is how to revamp our wardrobes without breaking the bank.

As it turns out, the conundrum is an easier fix than what most may expect. The answer is accessories, accessories, accessories.

Do not sleep on the power of a great necklace. It could be groundbreaking, transforming the drabbest of outfits into a runway look. The best accessories to have in your arsenal are detailed pieces with prints and patterns. These nuanced details will add subtle appeal to anything. If you’re looking for a way to spice up your wardrobe, accessorizing is definitely the way to do it.

The longevity of your clothes will actually increase as well. Think back to one of your favorite outfits. Was it a black dress, or a really funky shirt and the perfect pair of dark blue washed jeans? Since we are not characters in a cartoon, unfortunately, we don’t have an endless supply of our favorite outfits like Arnold with his blue shirt and plaid flannel.

So it might be unacceptable to wear the same thing every day. However, adding some statement earrings with that same outfit the next time you wear it on your weekend outing will keep your outfit versatile and inventive. Thou shall not be an outfit repeater. It’s one of the most terrible fashion faux pas you can make; I’m sure it is at least top 10 in fashion do’s and don’ts.

Iris Apfel at 90 years old became a celebrity after retirement and named New York’s fashion muse for her grandiose ways of adorning costume jewelry with a wardrobe full of bright hues. Of course, celebrities are hopping on the accessory bandwagon.  Some celebrities have recently been spotted using bandanas as the latest accessory to add flare to any outfit.

In an article by Priya Rao from Glamour Magazine, we examine 6 Ways to Wear a Bandana. So when in doubt accessorize it out, and at the end of the day do what makes you happy. Fashion is meant to have fun with.
